# Invest

### Overview

The **Invest** feature allows lenders to deposit funds into a **Tokenized Pool** and receive **LP tokens** representing their share in the pool.

LP tokens track the lender’s ownership in the pool and reflect the value of their investment. As the pool generates returns, the **LP token price adjusts accordingly**, allowing lenders to track the performance of their investment.

Only lenders whose **wallet addresses are whitelisted for a specific pool** can invest in that pool.

### Navigation

To invest in a pool, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the **Asset Tokenization** tab.
2. The platform will display all **Tokenized Pools where the lender’s wallet is whitelisted**.
3. Select the desired **Tokenized Pool**.
4. Open the **Invest** tab.

The Invest page displays relevant information about the pool and provides the option to make an investment.

### Investment Process

#### Step 1 — Enter Investment Amount

The lender enters the amount of **USDC or USDT** they wish to invest.

#### Step 2 — Review LP Token Output

The platform automatically calculates and displays:

* The number of **LP tokens** the lender will receive
* The **current LP token exchange rate**

This ensures transparency before confirming the investment.

#### Step 3 — Confirm Investment

The lender clicks the **Invest** button.

A wallet transaction will appear requesting approval.

#### Step 4 — Transaction Completion

Once the transaction is confirmed:

* The lender’s **USDC / USDT is transferred to the Tokenized Pool**
* The platform **mints LP tokens**
* The LP tokens are **sent to the lender’s wallet**

### Viewing Investment

After the investment is completed, the lender can view their position in the **Portfolio** section.

The Portfolio page displays:

* LP token balance
* Current value of the investment
* Associated Tokenized Pool

This allows lenders to monitor their positions across different pools.

### Example

Assume the current LP token exchange rate is:

**1 LP = 1 USDC**

If a lender invests **1,000 USDC**:

| Action           | Result     |
| ---------------- | ---------- |
| Deposit          | 1,000 USDC |
| LP Tokens Minted | 1,000 LP   |

If the LP token price later increases to **1.05 USDC**, the value of the investment becomes:

**1,000 LP × 1.05 = 1,050 USDC**

### Important Notes

* Only **whitelisted lender wallets** can invest in a pool.
* Investments are made using the **pool’s supported token (USDC / USDT)**.
* LP tokens represent the lender’s **share in the Tokenized Pool**.
* LP tokens are stored directly in the lender’s wallet.

### Role Responsibility

**Lender Responsibilities**

* Review pool details before investing
* Confirm the investment transaction in their wallet
* Monitor investment performance through the Portfolio section

**cSigma Platform Responsibilities**

* Track pool assets and liabilities
* Update LP token pricing based on pool performance

This process allows lenders to **participate in tokenized investment pools while maintaining transparent on-chain ownership through LP tokens.**
