# Deploy Funds

### Overview

Once lenders deposit capital into a **Tokenized Pool**, the funds become available for deployment into the underlying investment portfolios represented by **Sub Pools**.

The **Pool Manager** can deploy funds from the pool’s **Available Balance** using the **Vault widget** inside the Tokenized Pool dashboard.

When funds are deployed, the platform automatically distributes capital to the **wallets of the configured Sub Pools** based on the allocation percentages defined in the pool configuration.

### Where to Deploy Funds

To deploy funds, the Pool Manager must:

1. Navigate to the **Asset Tokenization** tab.
2. Select the desired **Tokenized Pool**.
3. Locate the **Vault widget** within the pool dashboard.

The Vault widget displays key pool balances, including:

* **Available Balance** — Capital that can be deployed into investments
* **Reserve Balance** — Liquidity retained for withdrawals

The Pool Manager will also see the **Invest** button within this widget.

### Deployment Process

#### Step 1 — Verify Available Balance

Before deploying funds, the Pool Manager should check the **Available Balance** shown in the Vault widget.

Only the Available Balance can be deployed into Sub Pools.

Reserve Balance remains locked in the pool to support withdrawals.

#### Step 2 — Click Invest

The Pool Manager clicks the **Invest** button in the Vault widget.

This action triggers the deployment process.

#### Step 3 — Capital Distribution

Once the transaction is confirmed, funds are transferred from the **Fund Manager** to the **wallets of the configured Sub Pools**.

<figure><img src="https://3125893853-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Ffmxk4zctrz092V9PoVdO%2Fuploads%2FQRUzhylpD3t9e68UI3U4%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=39c4b598-6cd1-48bc-97a5-c159b86fbe58" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The distribution follows the allocation percentages defined in the pool configuration.

For example:

| Sub Pool | Allocation | Wallet |
| ---------- | ---------- | ---------- |
| Sub Pool A | 60% | Wallet XYZ |
| Sub Pool B | 40% | Wallet ABC |

If the Pool Manager deploys **100 USDC**:

* **60 USDC** will be transferred to **Wallet XYZ**
* **40 USDC** will be transferred to **Wallet ABC**

These wallets are responsible for managing the underlying investments associated with each Sub Pool.

### Prerequisites

Before deploying funds, the following condition must be met:

**Sub Pool allocations must equal 100%.**

This ensures that the platform can distribute capital correctly across the configured Sub Pools.

If the total allocation is not 100%, the deployment action will not be allowed.

### Important Notes

* Only **Available Balance** can be deployed.
* **Reserve Balance** remains in the pool to support withdrawals.
* Capital is distributed automatically based on the configured allocation percentages.
* Sub Pool wallets receive the deployed funds and manage the underlying investments.

### Role Responsibility

**Pool Manager Responsibilities**

* Monitor the Available Balance in the pool
* Ensure Sub Pool allocations are properly configured
* Deploy capital into the underlying portfolios

**cSigma Platform Responsibilities**

* Maintain transparency of pool balances and capital movements

This deployment process enables Pool Managers to efficiently move capital from the Tokenized Pool into the **underlying investment strategies represented by Sub Pools**.
