# Create Tokenized Pool

### Overview

Once a **Pool Manager's wallet address has been whitelisted by cSigma Finance**, the Pool Manager can create a **Tokenized Pool (Master Pool)** using the Atlas interface.

A Tokenized Pool represents a structured pool where lenders can deposit capital that is allocated to underlying real-world or financial assets managed by the Pool Manager.

However, newly created pools are **not immediately active**. After creation, the pool will remain in **Pending status** until it is reviewed and approved by **cSigma Admin**.

### Prerequisites

Before creating a Tokenized Pool, the following conditions must be met:

* The Pool Manager must be **registered on the Institutional Platform**
* The Pool Manager must complete **KYB verification**
* The Pool Manager’s wallet must be **whitelisted by cSigma Finance**
* The Pool Manager must have access to the **Tokenization** section of the cSigma Atlas

Only whitelisted wallets are allowed to create pools.

### Pool Creation Process

#### Step 1 — Navigate to Tokenization

The Pool Manager logs into the **cSigma Atlas Institutional Platform** and navigates to the **Tokenization** tab.

From here, the Pool Manager can initiate the creation of a new **Tokenized Pool**.

#### Step 2 — Fill Pool Details

The Pool Manager must complete the pool creation form by providing the following information:

<figure><img src="https://3125893853-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Ffmxk4zctrz092V9PoVdO%2Fuploads%2F06N8NQlo14Uat2qdL1mi%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=1f407cc3-5f88-4899-b3f2-3f45f9f808d2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Name**\
The name of the pool that will be displayed on the platform.

**Ticker**\
A short symbol representing the pool token.

**Projected APR**\
Estimated annual percentage return expected from the pool's underlying assets.

**Pool Size**\
The maximum capital the pool intends to raise from lenders.

**Network**\
The blockchain network where the pool contracts will be deployed.\
Supported networks include:

* Ethereum
* Arbitrum
* Base
* Hedera

**Wallet Address**\
If multiple wallets are whitelisted for the Pool Manager, the Pool Manager must select the wallet that will deploy and manage the pool.

This wallet will:

* Deploy the pool contracts
* Hold administrative permissions
* Control pool configuration and access management

**Token**\
The underlying asset accepted by the pool (for example **USDC** or **USDT**).

**Description**\
A brief explanation of the pool, its strategy, or the asset being tokenized.

#### Step 3 — Submit Pool Creation

After filling in all required fields, the Pool Manager clicks the **Create** button.

The platform will then prompt a **wallet transaction**.

The Pool Manager must approve the transaction in their connected wallet.

This transaction triggers the **deployment of smart contracts associated with the pool** on the selected network.

#### Step 4 — Smart Contract Deployment

Once the transaction is confirmed:

* The pool's smart contracts are deployed
* The Tokenized Pool is registered in the platform
* The pool becomes visible in the **cSigma Atlas Tokenization dashboard**

#### Step 5 — Pool Status: Pending

Immediately after creation, the pool status will be:

**Pending**

This means:

* The pool has been successfully created
* The pool is awaiting **review and activation by cSigma Admin**

Until the pool is activated:

* The pool **cannot accept deposits from lenders**
* The pool will not be visible to participating lenders

### What Happens Next

Once the pool is created:

1. cSigma Admin reviews the pool configuration.
2. If approved, the admin **activates the pool**.
3. After activation, the pool becomes **live and can accept deposits from whitelisted lenders**.

### Important Notes

* Only **whitelisted Pool Manager wallets** can create tokenized pools.
* The wallet used during creation will have **administrative control of the pool contracts**.
* Pool creation requires a **blockchain transaction** to deploy smart contracts.
* Newly created pools always begin in **Pending status** until approved by cSigma.

### Role Responsibility

**Pool Manager Responsibilities**

* Provide accurate pool information
* Deploy pool contracts using an authorized wallet
* Manage lender access and pool operations

**cSigma Finance Responsibilities**

* Review newly created pools
* Approve and activate pools before lenders can participate

This process ensures that **all tokenized pools are properly registered and reviewed before they become available for capital allocation.**
