# Sub Pool Repayment

### Overview

When underlying investments generate repayments, the **Pool Manager must return funds from the Sub Pool back to the Tokenized Pool**.

Payments are made from the **wallet of the Sub Pool** to the **Tokenized Pool**, updating the outstanding balance of that Sub Pool and increasing the Available Balance of the Tokenized Pool.

Once funds are returned, they can be used to:

* Serve lender withdrawals requests
* Lender payments
* Reinvest into Sub Pools
* Maintain pool liquidity

### Where to Find Outstanding Amount

The Pool Manager can view the **outstanding balance of each Sub Pool** from the pool management interface.

To access this information:

1. Navigate to the **Asset Tokenization** tab.
2. Select the relevant **Tokenized Pool**.
3. Locate the **Sub Pools widget** on the pool management page.
4. Open the **Manage Sub Pools** tab.

This section displays a list of all Sub Pools linked to the Master Pool, including their outstanding balances.

### Payment Process

#### Step 1 — Open Manage Sub Pools

Inside the selected Tokenized Pool, the Pool Manager navigates to the **Manage Sub Pools** tab.

A list of associated Sub Pools will be displayed.

#### Step 2 — Select Sub Pool

Each Sub Pool in the list includes a **Manage** button.

The Pool Manager clicks the M**anage** button for the Sub Pool that needs to return funds.

#### Step 3 — Open Payment Screen

Clicking **Pay** opens the **Payment interface**, where the Pool Manager can initiate repayment.

#### Step 4 — Make Payment

The payment must be made using the **wallet assigned to the Sub Pool**.

Once the Pool Manager confirms the transaction:

* Funds are transferred to the **Tokenized Pool**
* The **Sub Pool outstanding balance is reduced**
* The repaid amount becomes part of the **Available Balance** of the Tokenized Pool

### Example Flow

Assume the following scenario:

| Sub Pool   | Outstanding Amount |
| ---------- | ------------------ |
| Sub Pool A | 100 USDC           |

If the Pool Manager pays **20 USDC** from the wallet:

| Category                         | Result   |
| -------------------------------- | -------- |
| Sub Pool Outstanding             | 80 USDC  |
| Tokenized Pool Available Balance | +20 USDC |

The returned capital can now be reused within the pool.

### Important Notes

* Payments must be made using the **wallet assigned to the Sub Pool**.
* Outstanding balances are updated automatically after payment.
* Returned funds increase the **Available Balance of the Tokenized Pool**.
* The Pool Manager can use the returned funds for **redeployment or liquidity management**.

### Role Responsibility

**Pool Manager Responsibilities**

* Monitor outstanding balances of Sub Pools
* Return funds to the Tokenized Pool when repayments are received
* Use the correct wallet for payment transactions

**cSigma Platform Responsibilities**

* Track outstanding balances of Sub Pools
* Update pool balances after repayment transactions
* Maintain transparent accounting of repayments and available capital

This repayment process ensures that **capital deployed to underlying portfolios is returned to the Tokenized Pool**, enabling liquidity for withdrawals and reinvestment opportunities.
